El Rollo Acapulco
The Basics
Families flock here to beat the heat and to enjoy a range of activities including various pools and oceanfront slides such as the twisty Octopus. Try out the Skycoaster, a bungee-type attraction that allows you to fly through the air at dizzying heights and offers views over the beach. The daily dolphin show includes an entertaining lineup of tricks and maneuvers. Look for money-saving buy-one-get-two ticket packages as well.

How to Get There
El Rollo Acapulco is located right on La Costera in the center of downtown Acapulco's tourist zone. It's within walking distance of most hotels, but if you're staying farther up or down the beach, you can catch any La Costera bus along the coastal highway. If you’re driving, arrive early to get a spot at El Rollo’s parking lot; paid parking lots are located nearby, but they can be pricey.

When to Get There
To avoid the big weekend crowds, try to visit El Rollo Acapulco on a weekday. Also, expect to encounter more tourists during the wintertime, from December to March, which is peak season in Acapulco. Typically, during off-peak season in the summer, there are few lines. You can also re-enter the park on the same day with your ticket throughout the year.
Cliff-Diving Show at La Quebrada
A visit to Acapulco isn’t complete without a stop to watch the iconic cliff divers at La Quebrada. There, a group of local men scale the impressive cliff face before diving into the waters of the cove below. Watch the show, which takes place throughout the day, from a viewing platform across from the cliff.
