Ales on Rails at Verde Canyon Railroad
SEAT, LUNCH, LOGO BEER GLASS AND FOUR (4) TASTING TICKETS. The event features the selection of fine Arizona-brewed craft beers and it’s a party on the depot patio from 11:00am-12:45pm, prior to the train’s departure. Seating during the Ales on Rails event is spacious living room-style chairs and couches, near panoramic windows. Individually packaged, freshly-made snacks of meats, cheeses, fruits and vegetables and our popular brownie bites are served at your seats. Bottled water is available throughout the trip. All seating cars connect to open-air viewing platforms. All beer tasting is done on the depot patio prior to the train ride. Must be 21 yrs or older to purchase beer tasting tickets.

Wonderful Trip
EC was very informative and was able to point out all of the caves and beautiful rock formations! It was a hot day yesterday, and the car that we were in was well air conditioned and very comfortable. The snacks they provided was perfect for the 3.5 hour trip. Bathroom was spacious and clean. We plan on coming back during Christmas time!

Memorable trip with new friends
Our most memorable moments were meeting other riders including the train personnel who were friendly and knowledgeable. They made the tour fascinating and brought the 3-1/2 hour trip to life. We also enjoyed getting to know the people who sat across from us. We all shared our traveling adventures and made recommendations for future plans.
The accommodations were comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. Also the meal was fresh and delicious.

I had been wanting to go...
I had been wanting to go on this train for the last four years, due to covid and other unforseen events I had not been able to go, fortunately I was finally able to go and enjoy w/family and a friend. Great Birthday experience. I would absolutely go again, maybe the Fall or Winter.

Our scenic train journey
Love the history of how the railway came to be.
Very relaxed and friendly tourist. Staff was amazing beginning with check in. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. Kudos to management!
Our only request is that the Clark family invest in renovating the bathrooms on the train.
