Ways to visit Juno Beach Centre (Centre Juno Beach)

The Juno Beach Centre opened in 2003 as a way to create a permanent memorial to the 45,000 Canadians who lost their lives in World War II and to preserve information surrounding their role in the war for future generations. Designed to appeal to both adults and children, the museum hosts both temporary and permanent collections made up of personal photographs, first-hand accounts, and artifacts presented alongside multimedia panels.

Many guided day tours of the Normandy landing beaches out of Bayeux, Caen, and Paris stop at the center in addition to other important WWII sites. If visiting independently, you can choose to buy a ticket to the museum or a combined pass for the museum and adjacent Juno Park.

Exceptional experience!
We had a great experience. Our tour guide was nice and very knowledgeable about the D-Day history from a Canadian standpoint. We had a schedule, but she made sure we had enough time to see everything and take as many pictures as we wanted. Honestly, one of the best tours I’ve been on. Thank you!

Normandy D-Day Beaches with Juno Beach, bunkers & Canadian Cemetery from Paris
The visit to Juno Beach, the bunkers, the Canadian cemetery, and the Abbey of Ardenne were remarkable experiences- very moving and so informative! Our guide was top notch - attentive, knowledgeable and intent on ensuring the trip met our expectations. He kept us moving at a good pace in order to ensure we experienced everything promised but was flexible enough to allow a little extra time at some of the sites when asked. We felt the cost was appropriate- indeed money well spent!

Our guide Celine was absolutely fantastic. She was knowledgeable about Juno Beach and the Canadian situation there during WWII. She was very friendly, professional and a pleasure to spend the day with. The tour was well worth our investment and I’d highly recommend the tour and especially our guide Celine.

Canadians in Normandy D-Day beaches Juno Beach and Pegasus Bridge (3/7 pax)
Our driver and guide Adrian was so knowledgeable and easy to be with all day! We learned more about Canada’s role in WW2 and allies through this tour than any other source. Adrian had so many interesting stories to share that made all that we saw and heard that much more interesting. Highly recommended!

Canadians in Normandy D-Day beaches Juno Beach and Pegasus Bridge (3/7 pax)
Our son is a big fan of history and has been particularly interested in WWII. When we decided to go to Paris, we knew we had to make the effort to get to Juno beach, so that he could experience what it might have been like during the war. Rėgis did not disappoint. We learned so much and loved every minute of the day.

I was worried about the 2.5h drive there and back in the same day but everything went smoothly because the minivan was confortable and we were able to sleep for a while. Our guide was great and gave us a lot of free time which permitted us to take a walk on Juno beach. This activity was the highlight of my vacation

Normandy D-Day Beaches with Juno Beach, bunkers & Canadian Cemetery from Paris
The depth of knowledge possessed by our guide - including anecdotes collected from soldiers and civilians - made our tour even more enjoyable and meaningful. We are history buffs yet until this trip knew little about the actual geographical factors influencing the pace of the Canadian advance. Our trip was well-paced with plenty of time for reflection as we walked around Hell’s Corner and visited the Abbey at Ardenne. Getting a feel for the Normandy countryside was a terrific break from the hustle and bustle of Paris. We not only received full value for our money; we made a lasting memory.
