LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Birmingham
The Basics
With more than two million LEGO bricks under one roof, there is endless LEGO-building action and entertainment to take part in. You can explore the park on your own or join activities such as a LEGO building workshop. Educational activities are also offered for school and group trips. For a full day of family fun in Birmingham, LEGOLAND tickets can also be combined with tickets to the National Sea Life Centre.
Things to Know Before You Go
LEGOLAND is a must-see for LEGO enthusiasts and creative families.
Book tickets in advance to secure entry, as tickets frequently sell out.
The center is wheelchair- and stroller-accessible.
An on-site coffee shop and gift shop make it easy to fuel up throughout the day or pick up LEGO bricks to take home.
How to Get There
Set at the Arena Birmingham on King Edwards Road, the center is accessible by car (M6 junction 6 or M5 junction 3) or by train or bus. If traveling by train, the closest stations (New Street and Moor Street) are a 15-minute walk from the center. Bus stops at Brindleyplace, Broad Street, and Sandpits are within a 5-minute walk of LEGOLAND.
When to Get There
School holidays and weekends are the busiest times at LEGOLAND, so if you want to avoid the crowds, visit on a weekday or during school hours. Additionally, a limited number of people are allowed in the park at one time, so if you are visiting on a busy day, be sure to book tickets in advance or arrive early. If you are a LEGO-loving adult, check the LEGOLAND online calendar for adults-only nights.
Learning Through Play at LEGOLAND
Whether visiting on a school trip or with their parents, kids can learn building, creativity, and fine motor skills—while having fun—at LEGOLAND. The park provides parents with ideas for engaging with their kids in building projects and encourages activities such as challenging your child to a timed build and playing LEGO brick building games. To take your building to a new level, join a Master Model Builder for a building workshop.
