On our off road tour in the Brasov area, you will discover our remote villages and you will have an off-road experience in the forests and on dirt roads. The off road tour offers you the opportunity to visit the countryside of “Barsei Country”, Brasov region, craftsmen using ancient techniques for blacksmithing, tailoring, scraps, farmers and hidden gems. The use of off road vehicles allows us to reach the most isolated places. We start our tour with a visit to the Bear Reservation, admire the Sanctuary with over 100 bears. After the Bear Sanctuary, our stop will be in a traditional house on the hills near Bran Castle, where we will taste homemade cheese, Romanian brandy and we will have our lunch too. Lunch will be served in a local traditional local house in Pestera or Magura village. In the off road tour you will find sensational sights and you can admire the beautiful landscapes. Beside the driving through our wild roads you will learn more about Romania.

The tour is conducted entirely in English. My guests see breathtaking sights, and I also tell them stories about the local culture (and especially the history of Dracula/Vlad the Impaler). Guests get to hear the fascinating ancient and medieval legends about vampires, NOT THE HOLLYWOOD version. I tell my stories with passion, and I believe with a lot of personality. I have been a tour guide in both Louisiana (USA) and Transylvania (Romania) for over 8 years.

MINIMUM 4PAX!! The tour starts with Bran Castle presenting the story of the castle together with the legend vs. truth about the cruel Vlad Dracula - The Impaler. You can buy several "Dracula” gifts at the souvenir market just outside the castle, but also local handmade artifacts of wool and wood. Then, continue to Peles Palace in Sinaia. The inside visit will be the highlight of your day; the detailed ornaments in every room will take you back to the early 20th century and make you admire every inch of it's artwork. The tour ends with a wine tasting at the famous Cellars of Rhein-Azuga, supplier of the Romanian Royal Court between the world wars. Tourists can discover the art of sparkling wine production by the traditional method used in Champagne, which involves a second fermentation of the wine in the bottle for at least 12 months. Azuga Rhein Cellars were opened in 1892 and were recognized between the two world wars as the Romania’s "Royal Court Provider"
