During the journey along the stream we will be able to admire the 27 'Briglie', that is the medieval hydraulic engineering structures built for the regulation and collection of the waters of the stream, which supplied the ancient city of Semifonte with water, destroyed by the Florentines in 1202 The bridle was used until the 18th century, but then abandoned. Only the restoration of the last few years has allowed its restoration and conservation. We walk to come into contact with this region’s nature: the hills, the streams, the woods, the trails through vineyards, and the wildest corners. We discover hidden gems: old farmhouses, parish churches, castles, and workshops where craftsmen create as they did once upon a time. We taste the fruits of this land: Chianti wines together with traditional dishes, but we also take in the scents of the flowers, the colors of the fields, and the sounds of every setting that we pass through.
