Grand Canyon Visitor Center

450 Arizona 64, Tusayan, AZ

The Basics

Between the visitor center’s IMAX Theater experience and its many interactive exhibits, you could spend all day at the Grand Canyon without ever leaving the visitor center. But, when you are ready to explore the canyon itself, take advantage of the resources at the National Geographic Visitor Center to plan a self-guided trip or join a guided tour of the canyon.

You can opt for a Jeep tour that starts out with an IMAX movie before heading to the East Rim of the canyon. Or, if you are visiting the canyon from Las Vegas, book a bus tour that includes a stop at the National Geographic Visitor Center and the chance to watch the IMAX movie before you enter the park.

3-Day National Parks Tour from Las Vegas: Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce Canyon
Every stop on the tour was beautiful. Our guide, Lorenzo, and driver, Ozzie, are great guys, and they made sure everyone had a good time. The bus was clean and comfortable. If you only have three days, this is the way to go.

Grand Canyon and Sedona Self-Guided Driving Tour Bundle
We luckily packed warm clothes but even in chilly temperatures in Sedona and a few white outs at Grand Canyon we still had lots of sun and breathtaking views. The guide gave us history we would have never gotten on our own and we could go at our own pace.

I got to experience the Grand Canyon from a biblical point of view. Nate, our tour guide was great. He was knowledgeable and made the tour fun. I would highly recommend the 4 hour biblical creation tour. Those 4 hours past so fast.

Grand Canyon South Rim Bus Tour with Optional Upgrades
Just wished we had more time to explore the canyon and gift shops. 15 minute breaks not long enough. It took 15 minutes for the loo break.

Grand Canyon South Rim Bus Tour with Optional Upgrades
We enjoyed the trip as I travelled with my wife and parents in-laws. I wish we had a more specific schedule of the different stops and a rough time table. It would have been nice to know that we would only have a few hours to spend at the Grand Canyon specific stops. The tour guides/drivers were great and I found the information they provided quite interesting/useful.

3-Day National Parks Tour from Las Vegas: Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce Canyon
The Tour Guide, Lorenzo, was great! He was knowledgable and funny. He also took pictures for everybody. The places we visited were beautiful. Antelope Canyon was very impressive. We didn't know much about it, but do now. I want to go back to Zion to camp and hike. My 2 friends and I all thought the tour was great.
