Elba’s largest city, Portoferraio has an unusual history that’s not always apparent to newcomers. On this tour, explore the city with an art historian guide, visiting historic sights associated with Cosimo de' Medici and Napoleon, who was exiled to the island in the early 19th century. Return at dusk, turning on the light on the bike, towards the starting point (Bike Center Elba, in the center of the Tenuta delle Ripalte) via a dirt road for about 30 minutes. Possibility, after the tour, to eat something at the bar or restaurant of the Tenuta delle Ripalte structure.

After the descent we will find ourselves immersed in a setting of other times, entering the historic Tenuta La Chiusa (first testimonies 1500). History and tasting will bring us some healthy relaxation, before returning to Lacona.
