Our experience will take place on one of the beautiful mountains that surround the east branch of Lake Como, Lecco. I will take you to a magnificent place which is also very unique, known only by those like me who are true local people;)

The tour starts in Bellagio. Experience the intense green and blue of Lake Como hiking through charming historic villages and woods. An easy hike of about 8 km, a scenic journey that will make you feel as though you have been transported back into early Italy, with stunning views around every corner. We will explore this famous hamlet walking along its picturesque steep stone alleys, admiring the elegance of its boutiques, continuing up to Pescallo and Aureggio crossing lush gardens and olive groves passing by noble mansions and villas. We will visit the ancient coloured village of San Giovanni. From this point it’s a steep path up. We will immerse in nature, hiking through enchanted woods to reach a suggestive restaurant with spectacular views over the lake. Here we will stop for our delicious local tasting. A great opportunity to get to know better your new travel companions over a glass of red wine. The tour ends at the magnificent gardens of Villa Melzi.

Bellagio is famous all over the world, a picturesque town that is In the town of Bellagio you can admire the fantastic panorama of Lake Como and also walk through the splendid gardens of Villa Melzi. After the visit to villa Melzi, by a ten minutes ferry boat trip to cross the lake, you will figure out Villa Carlotta where you will also have a guided tour to see the garden and the rooms of the villa with their vintage original furniture, you will be guided by a professional tour leader speaking your language. Please take note that the entrance tickets to all villas and ferry boat transfers are not included in the price of the guided tour and all tickets must be paid at local cash desks.
