The most splendid of them all, architect Jože Plečnik transformed a little town into the capital of Slovenes and has been recently recognized as UNESCO heritage. Let's talk about master Plečnik, his work and his life. We will see the iconic, must-see places and we'll have a look at many hidden corners where he did his magic. And magic it was! :)

The Master Plečnik experience provides insight into the heritage of Jože Plečnik's soul. In small groups, you will explore the places and objects that formed an important part of the master architect's everyday life, from the playful streetlamps, his favorite coffee, and a private lesson in his office, to the room in which he worked and slept. This is a comprehensive journey along the traces of Plečnik's plans and visions, both on land and water. On foot and accompanied by your guide, you’ll get to know, piece by piece, one of Europe's greatest twentieth-century architects who bestowed eternal beauty and charm on Ljubljana.

The 1970s and 1980s punk music from Slovenia was, and still is, amazing! It was very unique in the Communist East. And it's still very unique in the whole world! ‘Children of Socialism’, 'Via Ofenziva', ‘Ljubljana Dogs’, 'Ciao Bitches!', ‘Bastards’, ‘Berlin Wall’, and ‘Niet’ - these are just a few names of the bands that were turning an alternative music scene into an opposition movement. This walking tours takes you to the Johnny Rotten Square, Revolutions Squares (yes, a couple of them!), and other cult places. Also, you can count on listening to some legendary Slovenian/Yugoslav Communist Punk, Post-Punk and New Wave songs from a portable speaker.

This is an all-encompassing 4-hour trip to the classic and avant-garde coolness of Ljubljana. It reveals as much about its Medieval, Habsburg and Socialist past as it does about its contemporary position on the crossroads between Central Europe and the Balkans. The tour deals with the urban heart of the city, its creative soul and its independent spirit. You will see ancient monasteries put to alternative use, while discovering what Metelkova, Rog Factory, Jože Plečnik, Slavoj Žižek and Luka Dončić are all about. Not to mention amazing graffiti and street art gems. (The price includes a delicious warm snack.)
