Ways to visit Venice Beach

Travelers love strolling Venice Beach to take in the bohemian boardwalk and its brightly colored murals, funky shops, and street performers, including the Sunday afternoon drum circle. A hop-on hop-off bus tour is a great way to explore Venice Beach on your own schedule, while renting bikes or roller skates enables you to cover more ground—and blend in with the locals. This sandy spot is typically visited on Los Angeles city sightseeing tours and is sometimes paired with a stop in Santa Monica.

Best of LA, Hollywood, Griffith Park, Santa Monica & Venice Tour from Anaheim
Had a great time. It is a little difficult to hear from the back of the van however, despite the driver using a small microphone. Would recommend sitting at the front of the van otherwise you may need to keep asking the driver to speak up like we did. Unfortunately, we were picked up last and the only seats left were at the back.

I recommend this tour for anyone visiting LA for the 1st time. GIO, our driver was terrific! Not only was his driving superb, he was a wealth of information and told many funny stories. Loved his personality! We got to see so so much from Beverly Hills, Griffith Park, Sunset Blvd, Rodeo drive even a great lunch at Mel's Diner. Plus Venice Beach/ Muscle beach , the Hollywood walk of fame, and much much more. Do no miss this one!

Small Group Electric EBike bicycle Tour Santa Monica and Venice
Class act, from the moment arriving Barb made sure each rider was familiar and comfortable with riding the E-bikes. During the tour much thought has been put into the amount of riding and taking time off the bike when there was plenty of history for Barb to share with us. She had some great stories, and neat photos to display about them. It was a well paced, pleasurable experience.

Los Angeles Highlights Tour from Long Beach
Personable tour guide. Great overview of LA. Personally, Mel’s Diner and Santa Monica Pier could have just been drive bus. Too much time wasted at those. Would like to have had time to walk around Venice which we only drove through.

All Day LA Hollywood & Beach Tour
The most memorable part of the trip was seeing all the places we'd heard of and how they connected. Abe our driver/guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information as we went along. He was very relaxed and when we stopped at various places he gave us as long as we wanted to take a look. We were the only people on the tour so it was very personal service which we appreciated. Recommended.

Great option if not driving around LA. Very convenient pick up at the hotel in Long Beach. Luckily there wasn’t a full bus and the weather was good on the day I went. Personally I would have liked to have spent time at Venice Beach but we only drove through. It was fun to see all the places from some of the movies. The driver was knowledgeable and very kind to drop off something I had left on the bus at my hotel after the tour.
