The maximum height in this tour is between 4300 meters above the sea level. From the crater you will have a beautiful view point of the rest of the mountain, landscapes and the lagoons named “Lagoon of the Sun” and “Lagoon of the Moon”. This was a sacred place in prehispanic times.
This hike is easy but we will have some ascents making the hike harder. Now (August 2023) it is rainy season and the cold weather is starting (4° Celsius at the end of the hike). The weather now includes fog, wind and cold.
