When we reach the summit of the town, we will find ourselves in the magical Piazza Grande, where we will be able to visit the never-finished Cathedral, the Fortress, and enjoy a wonderful view over the Val di Chiana and part of the Val d'Orcia. Last but not least, our tour will take us underground to visit one of the ancient wineries of the town, and taste a glass of Nobile wine. Tuscan cooking class at the farm: together with the local housewives, you will undertake a typical local cooking course, cooking dishes that are simple and tasty at the same time, typical of the sharecropping period. All the ingredients of the course are selected according to seasonality and focusing on local zero-miles productions.

With the help of our Chef, native to this area, you will discover the unique flavors of local cuisine as you explore our traditional lifestyle. The course includes the preparation of 4 typical recipes. We start our experience preparing the special sauce of Crostino Toscano, traditional appetizer. Then we’ll make handmade pasta: Pici, real treasure of south Tuscany. For the sauce we’ll prepare the typical Aglione, which is a tomato sauce made with a special giant garlic of the area. As dessert we’ll prepare Cantucci, traditional cookies of Valdichiana. They are very good dipped in Vin Santo, special sweet wine of our region. After this unique experience, all your efforts will be rewarded by enjoying the sumptuous meal prepared with your own hands during the cooking class. Enjoy your meal!
