The Basics

Founded 70-odd years after Dutch settlers first arrived in what is now New York City, Trinity Church is one of the nation’s earliest places of worship. Granted a charter by King William III, the first church building debuted in 1698. Destroyed in the Great New York Fire of 1776, it was soon rebuilt before being reconstructed again in 1846. The version that stands today was designed by architect Richard Upjohn and is renowned for its grand, Gothic Revival spire (which, for a time, made it the tallest building in the United States).

Trinity Church features on numerous New York City tours, including bus tours, walking tours, and driving tours. It’s also visited on Hamilton-themed excursions and 9/11 memorial tours.

Wall Street Insider Tour with a Finance Professional
My son wanted to learn more about Wall Street and we both learned so much. Jonathan was a wealth of experience, similar to learning from a history/finance professor, not just a tour guide. Loved hearing the history of the Wall St. families and for my 18 year old son, it was the highlight of our trip. Had an early dinner before we headed back to Midtown via UBER. Easy and fun.

Statue of Liberty Ticket, 9/11 Memorial and Wall Street Tour
Learning about why Wall Street is named that, visiting the 9/11 Memorial, and the new transit hub were high points, but the entire tour was fun and informative. Combined with the trip to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island this was a bargain.

Jonathan was an entertaining and very knowledgeable guide! Learnt so much and no question from our group was too trivial! Much better than just wandering around by ourselves.

It was a fantastic tour. Sara has a great sense of humor as a native New Yorker. She brought us to minor places no other tour guide would take.

Our guide Jared got all the group really involeved by asking questions before presenting the history. In my opinion the explanation is clear even to someone with a little of English listening expirence.
