In the afternoon, make your own way to the roastery and training lab, where you’ll have the chance to try out professional coffee machines. Led by your barista instructor, you’ll learn essential skills for making delicious espresso drinks.

In this class we will use manual brewing devices such as the famous cone drippers like Hario V-60 or the Chemex. But we are also able to use the Aero Press, French press, or Kalita Wave. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on and interactive coffee lesson. We will be trying different coffees all along our journey, so be prepared for an amazing coffee tasting experience! This class will be held at the Vamo Coffee roastery and training lab. Equipped with professional coffee machines, tools, and brewing devices. It brings him joy to see people happy when they eat. Shawn now lives with five children and a loving wife that love when he cooks. Shawn went to school in State College which prides itself on being one of the best football towns in the country. American football is a big part of the culture of State College, home to Penn State University. Shawn is eager to share the food and culture of tailgating during this fun and unique food experience.
