This taco adventure will eat at a wide variety of food establishments including small Mexican family owned restaurants and Mexican family owned street taco stands. We also will discuss many of the other restaurants and stands we may pass. At each stop the guide will give a fun and informative lecture on a different aspect of Mexican cuisine. After this tour you will not only have a list of stands and restaurants to return to you will also know what to order, eat, pay and overall etiquette of street tacos and you may even feel like a local.

This walking adventure will cover many areas of the Historic Heart of Puerta Vallarta. During the 5 to 7 hour walk, we will visit many historic neighborhoods and explore hidden staircases, paths, and hidden gardens. We will visit a cemetery, and three very Mexican Mercardos. We will also visit the Melacon for a few blocks and explore the pier. We will visit a chocolate factory and walk to the lookout high above the Historic Heart of Puerto Vallarta. We will also walk along the beautiful rocky shoreline of Conchas Chinas ending our adventure at a beachfront café.

This adventure will be a long fun day first crossing the Bay to the remote, carless fishing village of Yelapa. Crossing the bay will take approx. 1 hour each way. During the Winter months, we have a good chance of spotting whales as they made their way from Alaska to our bay during the Fall. We will hike all throughout the hillside village visiting its main attractions including the waterfall and museum. For lunch, we will choose a beachfront bar/cafe and relax for 1 to 3 hours on the beach before our return boat ride back to the Pier at Los Muertos beach in Puerto Vallarta.
