Once home to Hollywood superstars Liz Taylor and Richard Burton, Gringo Gulch is now a sleepy Puerto Vallarta neighborhood which spills down the hillside above the Cuale River. Characterized by red-roofed, whitewashed "Vallarta-style" mansions—including Casa Kimberly, Taylor’s one-time villa—Gringo Gulch has some of the best views over downtown Puerto Vallarta, as well as a distinctly colorful past.

Guided Historic Walking Tour of Puerto Vallarta
This walking adventure will cover many areas of the Historic Heart of Puerta Vallarta. During the 5 to 7 hour walk, we will visit many historic neighborhoods and explore hidden staircases, paths, and hidden gardens. We will visit a cemetery, and three very Mexican Mercardos. We will also visit the Melacon for a few blocks and explore the pier. We will visit a chocolate factory and walk to the lookout high above the Historic Heart of Puerto Vallarta. We will also walk along the beautiful rocky shoreline of Conchas Chinas ending our adventure at a beachfront café.
