Ways to visit Mirabilandia
Beloved by thrill-seekers large and small, Mirabilandia is home to a number of record-setting rides. Adventurous highlights include Divertical, the highest water coaster in the world; Katun, Europe’s largest inverted roller coaster; and Legends of Dead Town, which lays claim to being the biggest horror house in Europe. Racing fans will love the iSpeed launched coaster, modeled after Formula 1 racing; and the new Ducati World, an entire area dedicated to Italy’s iconic motorcycle. Younger visitors can travel back to the Jurassic age at Monosaur, hop on board the Santa Fe Express train through Bimbopoli, or even discover the world of Ducati on the Kiddy Monster ride. The entire family can cool down with the water rides in the adjacent Mirabeach water park.
Things to know before you go to Mirabilandia
*Tickets to Mirabilandia are valid for two consecutive days; separate tickets must be purchased for Legends of Dead Town and Mirabeach. *With six themed area covering around 75 ares, you’ll be spending the day on your feet. Be sure to choose comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. *From fast-food stands and a pizzeria to themed restaurants, there is an ample choice for dining inside the park. *The park is completely accessible to wheelchair users and visitors with other special needs, and detailed information regarding accessibility of individual rides is available at the entrance. *Strollers and wheelchairs can be rented at the entrance.
How to get to Mirabilandia
Mirabilandia is located along SS 16 Adriatica outside Ravenna, and Bonelli Bus offers a shuttle service from the main towns along the Adriatic coast from June to September. The nearest train station to Mirabilandia is Lido di Savio/Lido di Classe, and there’s a shuttle bus service from the station to the park.
When to visit Mirabilandia
Gardaland Park is open daily from April through October, and on the weekend for most of the rest of the year. The park is most crowded on weekends from June through August, when schools are closed for the summer. Try to visit during the week in the high season.
Mirabeach
From steep water slides to a relaxing lagoon, Mirabilandia’s adjacent water park is an idea place to cool off. Highlights include the thrilling Vuelta Vertico and El Cobra slides, the Baia de Ondas wave pool, and the Rio Angel rafting river.
