2 Hour Small Group Art Tour: Michelangelo, Bernini, and Borromini

This is our Italian art tour, where we will follow the footsteps of three famous sculptors: Bernini, Borromini, and Michelangelo. From our office, in Via del Cardello 31, we will go to the first stop of our tour, Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli, where you can admire Michelangelo’s Moses. The work portrays a majestic Moses, sculpted in 1513. Seated in a serious attitude, he rests with one arm on the tables, and with the other holds his long glossy beard. Next, we will go to the Campidoglio, one of the seven hills Rome. The next stop is Piazza Navona, one of the most beautiful squares in Rome. This square is famous for having 3 fountains, the most famous of them being The Fountain Of The Four Rivers, designed by Bernini. We will also see here the Church of Sant’Agnese in Agone. Our last stop is Piazza di Spagna, a square well known for having perhaps the most famous staircase in the world, but in this tour we will focus on the Barcaccia fountain, in the middle of the square.
