What a beautiful historic palace in the middle of Rome! Great artwork and furnishings in a very wealthy home that has been well maintained and restored over the centuries.

The gallery is breathtaking! Audio guide in many languages is great. I wish I had more time to listen about all the masterpieces

The art was great to see in its ‘home’ setting. Our guide was a font of knowledge about the family and the collection they amassed over the many years. The D-P is not on the usual list of must see places. I have been to Rome way more than a dozen times and while walking past the palace I had not thought to visit any of those times. This was/ is a mistake. Book a tour. We were delighted.

The impressive amount of fantastic masterpieces, as well as great interors. Well worth to spend an hour or more.

This gallery is absolutely amazing, and the audio tour helped us understand and appreciate the story of the family that owns it. It is narrated by a member of the family (descendants of a pope) who apparently still lives there. Obtaining these tickets is a bit confusing, so let me explain the steps: 1-Pay in the Viator app or website (the app is very good) 2-You'll get a message saying to go to an address about 1/2 mile from the gallery to pick up the actual tickets. Here's the first tip: you don't have to do this. Just go have a Campari someplace and wait for step 3. 3-Eventually (it was about 12-18 hours later for me), you'll get one email for each ticket. In that email is a link that will say something like "bigliettoA4-123456.pdf". That appears to be a file, but it's actually a link to Viator.com. 4-I found that when I clicked it on my phone, it opened the Viator app but didn't show me the actual tickets. Here's the second tip: do one of these: a-open the email on a computer rather than a phone, which will then put the ticket in your download folder, from which you can print it. a-forward the emails to your hotel concierge and let him/her print the tickets. c-on your phone, press and hold the link until you get a menu from which you can open it with a browser rather than the Viator app. 5. Show up at the gallery, not the address in step 2 and show them the ticket. You'll be directed to a turnstile where you can scan it for entry without having to go to the ticket office. None of this is difficult but it took a bit to figure out. Enjoy the gallery! It's great.

The gallery was great. The paintings were astonishing. One thing that could have been better is if there was an audio guide like at the Vatican.

The Gallery was very interesting. The paintings on the walls, the painted ceilings, the sculptures, and even the floors were all a very enjoyable experience.

We have seen a lot in Rome but this audio guided tour has been a favorite. I love that it’s not packed. Worth a visit for sure.

Beautiful experience……quiet and not crowded….easy access…..timed tickets and amazing art….a must see when coming to Roma!!

This was one of the best tours we took because it was self-guided once we were in the apartments. An audio guide was included. There was a time frame but it was enough time to see most everything. The art collection itself was worth the price of admission.
