Bananas play an integral role in Rwandan culture and this half-day tour gives you a glimpse into the famous banana juice. Join a small group and learn how to make the drink in the traditional way. Walk through the grove to collect green bananas and leaves to bury and ripen over a few days. Dig up some ripened bananas and peel, mash, and strain the fruit to get your delicious juice.

This immersive art tour of Red Rocks Arts studio , is a full-day tour which can be tailor-made to your artistic interests. Whether you want to visit established art gallery or off-the-beaten-track art studio, you’ll discover how art has become the universal language in supporting the efforts of conserving the iconic mountain gorillas. Our art studio encourages creation in the field of visual arts and others form of contemporary expression, fostering exchanges with other artists and art initiatives and strengthening local artists’ capacities, and professionalizing the practice.We welcome you to join them and make your own arts or simply hear their success stories of using arts as a mode of enhancing conservation of the natural environment and animals which could not speak for themselves,make your own arts and take home as souvenir.

An overnight Experience is a unique opportunity to participate in the life of a rural Rwandan and her/his family. Home Stay hostesses live in homes made of mud or bricks, which usually have one larger front room for receiving visitors and a few smaller bedrooms for the family. In the enclosed area behind the house, there is an outdoor kitchen, enclosed pit latrine and bathing outhouse, animal stalls and family work space. Most host families have about four children at home. In Rwandan culture, guests are considered a blessing! Your Home Stay Experience begins with a drive to a nearby village, where you and your BGE guide will be welcomed by your rural community hosts. This experience can be long or short depending on the guest's wishes and it is popular with students that are participating in abroad study programs,internships and researches.

Camping near Volcanoes National Park at Bisoke Beer Garden the only place nearby which has a pavilion with picnic tables,restaurant,bar and a fireplace ( wood is provided). Tents camping are available and there is no limits to the days of stays.
