The Basics

Virtually all Morgan’s Wonderland visitors arrive independently and either prebook tickets online or buy them at the door. Individual-park tickets are available, or you can book 2-park tickets for extra savings. Enjoy rides and attractions at Morgan’s Wonderland custom-designed to accommodate wheelchairs, such as a Ferris wheel, a train, a carousel, and adaptive swings, including wheelchair swings. Additional activities include catch-and-release fishing, racing remote-controlled pirate ships, and plenty of imaginative play at the Sensory Village.

Things to Know Before You Go

  • Visitors with special needs can enter free of charge; there’s a nominal entrance fee for everyone else.

  • Admission includes an optional GPS band to keep track of individuals and free photos taken at several park features.

  • The park is completely wheelchair-accessible and includes features designed with other disabilities in mind.

  • Outside food and drink (in nonglass containers) are permitted; there are three food outlets inside the park.

  • Same day re-entry is permitted with wristbands.

How to Get There

The park is located in Northeast San Antonio, about 0.5 miles (0.8 kilometers) west of Interstate 35 at the intersection of Wurzbach Parkway and Thousand Oaks Drive. Plenty of free parking is available on-site.

When to Get There

Morgan’s Wonderland is a seasonal park, open from March through December. It’s possible to spend the entire day here, especially in conjunction with Morgan’s Inspiration Island, which is open from mid-May to September.

Morgan’s Inspiration Island

A sister park to Morgan’s Wonderland, Morgan’s Inspiration Island is the world’s first ultra-accessible splash park. Spanning more than 3 acres (1.2 hectares), it features five tropically themed splash pads, as well as an accessible River Boat Adventure ride. The park also offers waterproof wheelchairs for wheelchair users to enjoy the water without risking damage to their personal wheelchairs.
