Experience a traditional Catholic Mass or, when no service is being conducted, wander the nave free of charge, gaze at the huge stained glass windows, and take in the construction of the oldest church on US soil. Among its artifacts are the wax-covered mummy of 1st-century martyr St. Pius and the tomb of Ponce de León, notorious Spanish conquistador and the first governor of Puerto Rico. Guided walking tours of Old San Juan typically include a stop at the church.

Old San Juan Walking Tour
We got so much more from this tour than we ever expected. It was three hours and saw all of Old San Juan. Our tour guide, David, is incredibly knowledgeable. He invited questions from the group and knew answers to all of them. You can tell he loves his city, cleaning up trash as we walked. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone coming to San Juan and want to learn the history.

Our tour guide was Marjorie. She was excellent! Very aware of safety, food and history and fun and bubbly on top of that! And still gave recommendations of other restaurants the following day.

Old San Juan Walking Tour
Our guide David expertly steered us through all the high points and hidden gems of Old San Juan, mixing his intimate knowledge with dry humor. He kept the tour moving, found a dry spot during a sudden shower, and was constantly looking out for our safety. Gracias David!

Old San Juan Walking Tour
Seeing the stray cats of San Juan and talking to a volunteer who feeds them. The brilliant colours of the buildings along the quaint cobblestone streets really give San Juan charming character. Our guide, David Rodriquez was extremely informative and solicitous of our comfort and safety. We enjoyed his stories immensely.

Ricardo was very personable, informative and knowledgeable. We had a great time on the food tour ( even in the torrential rain). The places we ate at were delicious especially the Mofongo.

San Juan Ghost Walking Tour
I know this was a ghost tour, but the history was amazing!!! Richard really knows his history as well as the ghost stories. We walked quite a bit of Old San Juan at the perfect time of day - much cooler weather! Richard is so charming, you can’t help being mesmerized by his history lessons and stories! Highly recommend!!!

Flavors of San Juan Food Tour
Our family has been on many food tours but this one topped them all. Tons of food, history, and fun made this tour exceptional. We tried foods that were local and excellent. Making Mofongo was an added bonus. Our guides knew everything about the island and provided us many dining tips for the remaining week. Loved our group too!

Fabian was a great guide, very knowledgeable and very personable. There were more than 10 people in our group, which was challenging at times. Fabian did a great job of herding everyone.
