Oak Creek Canyon

Oak Creek Canyon, AZ

The Basics

A scenic drive through beautiful Oak Creek Canyon is well worth the effort whether or not you actually need to travel north from Sedona. Grand Canyon day trips from Sedona pass through the gorge, as do small-group tours of the Sedona area (along with visits to the Chapel of the Holy Cross, Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, and Airport Mesa) and multi-day itineraries through Arizona.

Great trip, our driver Chris was excellent! Unfortunately parts of our trip were cancelled because of the snow. On the other hand, I was told it hasn’t snowed at the Grand Canyon in over 30 years.

Hon was very pleasant. The microphone systems was not good. We could not hear him in the back of the van. The van was very uncomfortable. We enjoyed the stops and of course the center piece of the trip - the Grand Canyon. It was nice not to have to. worry about a car, where to park etc.

Driver Han's 'surprise' viewing of the canyon. "You only see the Grand Canyon for the first time once in your life'. Had us all look down & facing away until we were at an amazing vista & had us all turn around & look at once. I held my sister's hand & actually yelped in awe!

Eric was a great tour guide. Very professional and polite. It was a very quick trip, but we didn’t need to drive or rent a car. It was a good trade-off.

Of course the Grand Canyon is a magnificent sight and Sedona is just beautiful. In addition, our tour guide, Zane, was incredibly knowledgeable about the whole area as we drove from Scottsdale and back. I recommend this trip.

My second time doing this tour and it’s always nice to not have to drive yourself. This was my 3rd time to grand canyon and just love the canyon and sedona so much. Zane is extremely knowledgeable and he drives very safe and efficiently. Sorry i didn’t tip you as i didn’t have cash but hopefully this review will get you a raise. Thanks Zane.
