Þórsmörk valley is an incredibly beautiful Mountain ridge in the heart of South Iceland, located between three glaciers; Eyjafjallajökull, Mýrdalsjökull and Tindfjallajökull.  To reach this secluded valley our guide operates a fully equipped 4x4 Super Jeep to get us through the rough highland roads and across various gushing glacial rivers. it is real nice to have experienced local driver to take you for a drive along the south coast so you can relax and focus on the Icelandic Nature .I will try my best to make this day fun for you and show you Iceland local style. we will stop at the main attractions and stop for food along the way. from your hotel we will start driving east you’ll stretch your legs at the 60-meter tall waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss and the mystical black sand beach of Reynisfjara. and from there we will journey to Jökulsárlón and Diamond beach this is a 4hour drive each way but we will stop along the way

Landmannalaugar is one of a kind and no surprise it is one of the most popular natural attraction in Iceland. The geological formations with their stunning colors and geothermal heat are super motives for the eye or camera. Your guide has a Ph.D. in botany and has a deep understanding of the environmental issues dealt with in Iceland. During the drive, the elevation increases and you can definitely sense a change. The vegetation changes, sometimes the weather changes and so does the scenery of course. We drive very close to the majestic Hekla volcano which has erupted five times since 1947 and is due to erupt again any day. We then follow the narrow roads into the mountains, cross a few rivers and are soon in Landmannalaugar. And on the way we can - of course - stop as often as you like for photos. The hike through Fimmvörðuháls, from Skógar to Þórsmörk, is one of Iceland´s best known hiking routes.  We start our day at the 60 m high Skógarfoss waterfall, where we begin our 25 kilometer hike towards Þórsmörk. The trail winds along Skógá River and its many waterfalls, and up between the two Glaciers, Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull. There we will experience the recent lava flow from the 2010 eruption on Fimmvörðuháls and hike on the two volcanic craters – Móði and Magni. From there we will start our decent towards Þórsmörk, where the view can be spectacular. If we are lucky we can see Volcanos, Glaciers, the Highlands and Glacier valleys. Our hike takes us through rough Icelandic landscape and beautiful nature.
