Great AMERICAN History Experience!
All three were great: Colonial Williamsburg, the Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown. Our favorite was the Jamestown Settlement.

Good time
Lots of history. We had a good time. Ate at local restaurants. Lots of walking so bring good shoes. Watch where you park (can only pay on app).

Really enjoyable tour
We loved our tour with Lonnie. He is a long time Virginia resident and Williamsburg Historical reenactor. The 101 tour was perfect for us. We hit all 3 colonial sites in a day so didn’t have much time at any one place. He covered the history of Williamsburg in the context of colonial Virginia history and government as well as the American Revolution. Details about the college of William and Mary and the recreation of the town into its present form and ongoing archaeology as well. Really top notch. I highly recommend his tours.

Immersed in History
Jamestown was such an amazing place! I had no idea it was so large and could be done all indoors for hours on end. We will go back so that we can fully experience Jamestown! Yorktown was good as well. We ended up waking to the town where there was a pirate invasion, which was such fun! Colonial Williamsburg was wet - rained all day Sunday, but we were able to see the highlights and will go back to experience the museum. Highly recommend! We were fully immersed in our American History and it was a great reminder of how lucky we are to be living in this day and age, vs. back in colonial times. Our ancestors were truly bad##s!
