Adelaide Zoo
The Basics
An Adelaide Zoo entry ticket includes full access to the zoo’s many attractions, as well as daily events such as zoo keeper talks and animal feeding demonstrations. Animal lovers can also enjoy behind-the-scenes tours and night visits. For the best value, combine Adelaide Zoo admission with an Adelaide city tour, a cruise along the River Torrens, or a visit to the Monato Zoo safari park.

Things to Know Before You Go
On-site facilities include a café, restaurant, children’s playground, and picnic areas.
Visitors are required to pass through security and submit to bag checks before entering the zoo.
The zoo is fully accessible for wheelchairs and strollers.
How to Get There
The zoo is on the north-eastern edge of Adelaide, next door to the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. Catch bus 271 or 273 from Currie Street; it stops on Frome Street, right outside the zoo. Alternatively, Popeye runs ferries from Elder Park, stopping outside the zoo.
