Diamondland
In the midst of Antwerp’s Diamond District is Diamondland, one of the city’s largest showrooms and home to an exclusive collection of diamond jewelry. Here visitors can learn more about the process involved in creating diamonds, and travelers planning on proposing can browse hundreds of diamond engagement rings.
The Basics
Diamondland offers free guided tours that show diamond craftsman at work and shed light on Antwerp’s 400-year history of diamonds. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, Diamondland also offers a Diamond and Sparkles experience, which includes cocktails and jewelry gifts. Most Antwerp day trips and city tours stop at Diamondland; you can either arrange your guided tour in advance or spend free time browsing the jewelry collection independently.
Things to Know Before You Go
Diamondland designers can assist visitors in the creation of personalized diamond jewelry.
Diamondland is wheelchair-accessible.
Visitors from outside the EU can enjoy tax-free shopping.
How to Get There
Diamondland is located on Appelmansstraat, in the heart of the Diamant District in central Antwerp. The showroom is a few minutes’ walk from Central Station and can also be reached on foot from Zuid and Grand Market Square.

The Diamond Capital of Europe
About 84% of the world’s uncut diamonds pass through Antwerp’s Diamond District, an enclave of side streets just west of Central Station. Every year more than $50 billion in polished, cut diamonds visit the four trading exchanges, regulated by the Antwerp World Diamond Centre, bringing massive wealth into the city.
