The hike to the water is only a little over a mile and it’s so beautiful and Barry knew so much about all the plants, he’s so great. We had a blast!"

"We stopped in Belize on a cruise, and this was an excellent tour of the ruins. Mr. Brown picked us up at the cruise terminal, and gave us the history of Belize as we drove out to Altun Ha. The private tour was perfect, it made it easy to accommodate my elderly father as well as my 3 year old nephew. We were worried about making it back on the ship in time, but Mr. Brown handled the tour seamlessly. Highly recommend!"

"Hands down the best trip I took in Belize. I was skeptical of what to expect and also a little worried because I’m not very comfortable around water but the staff here took care of me and a few others who were not good swimmers. Shout out to Ali and Stacey, these two individuals made sure we got the full experience. I petted a sting ray and a shark thanks to Stacey and my snorkeling experience was top notch thanks to Ali. I mean my head was in the water the whole time!!! I had one issue with my mask but Ali fixed that real quick!! "This was such an amazing experience. The details of the images in the ruins are a work of art. This is something you have to see with your own eyes in order to believe. I have read a lot of books about ancient civilizations (Egypt, Ghana, Kush, Mayan, Olmec, Aztecs, etc.) and, thus, I have seen a lot of depictions of statues and ruins in the books that I have read, but seeing them in person is a completely different experience. If you love history, not just what you were taught in school then you will love this tour. Our tour guide Nathan was super knowledgeable. He is also half Mayan so he has a lot of insight about their culture. It was a long days journey from Caye Caulker to Orange Walk (where Lamani is located) so I would recommend either doing this trip from Belize City or someplace closer but no matter what, you should definitely take the time to do this trip if you are in Belize."
