*The Queen Street Mall is one of Brisbane’s busiest destinations and is a popular inclusion on walking tours of the city. *Shops at the Queen Street Mall typically open from 9am to 5pm, and from 10am on Sundays. *Queen Street Mall has public restrooms, free Wi-Fi, a Tourist Information Center, and numerous options for restaurants and cafés. *Most of the shops and malls around Queen Street Mall are accessible for wheelchairs and strollers.
How to get there
Queen Street Mall is located in central Brisbane, between Albert Street and Edward Street. It’s easy to reach on foot from the central attractions and Brisbane Central Station is just a 5-minute walk away. Those arriving with their own transport will find parking at the surrounding malls.

Shops along the Queen Street Mall are open daily with Saturday typically being the busiest day. Friday offers late-night shopping, with many shops staying open until 7pm or even 9pm within the malls. The most atmospheric time to visit is during one of the city’s annual celebrations—the mall hosts special events and live street entertainment over Christmas and during holidays such as the Lunar New Year, Halloween, and Easter.
