The Queensland Cultural Centre welcomes some seven million visitors each year, who come for the exhibitions and events. Head to the Performing Arts Centre for concerts and stage shows, and don’t miss the stunning architecture of the State Library of Queensland (which often hosts children’s activities inside.) The Queensland Museum documents the changing face of Brisbane and Queensland—from its culture and history to its flora and fauna—over the centuries.
The highlight of the Queensland Cultural Centre is the inspiring Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA), which hosts a regular program of visiting and local exhibitions. It's the largest contemporary art gallery in Australia and includes drama and film. Some city tours include free time at the Cultural Centre.

The Cultural Centre is within easy walking distance of Brisbane’s central business district using the Victoria Bridge or Kurilpa footbridge. Public buses, trains, and ferries also stop nearby for those coming from further afield.
