The Burnie Attractions Bus is the best way to see Burnie! Designed to provide full flexibility you are free to hop on and hop off at each stop and catch a later bus to continue the tour. If you do not get off the bus the circuit takes 1 hour and 45 minutes. The bus departs Burnie Arts and Function Centre on the hour every hour from 10am to 2pm. Our buses are operated by the same company as the port shuttle from your ship to the Burnie CBD which means we guarantee you will make your ship's departure time. We’ll take the short drive to Upper Burnie Lookout for magical views of the seaside town and the enormous Bass Strait. Then drive inland to soak in the serenity at Guide Falls. Our next stop is the Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden, it is the largest collection in the Southern Hemisphere. Also, a good place to view platypus in the wild. You are free to spend an hour here. There is a $15 entrance fee for the Rhododendron Gardens. Our last stop is the famous Hellyer’s Road Distillery.
