As the last large-scale Romantic garden left in the United States, Magnolia Plantation and Gardens seek to provide an escape from the struggles and stresses of everyday life. Unlike a formal garden that seeks to “control” nature, a Romantic garden cooperates with nature to create a peaceful landscape where people and nature exist in harmony. Magnolia’s are also the oldest unrestored gardens in the United States, and the historic house is one of the oldest in the South.

Don't settle for one plantation! Here is your chance to get a taste of 5 historical sites, all on the same tour, in small group(8 or less) Mercedes Sprinter style. We will visit 4 plantations and the family church... history that dates over 300 years and is the foundation of American history in the south. We start with McLeod Plantation, and will enjoy their interpretive tour and learn the very core of real plantation life. We then travel through Ashley River Road to get a taste of Drayton, Magnolia and Middleton properties, with short, scenic stops, learning of the family history. Please note this is a driving tour, and we do not enter the admission areas of the grounds. We finish with a trip to Old Saint Andrews Church circa 1706. I am a city certified tour guide that takes you outside the limits! Come enjoy the journey into the past. 4-person minimum.

No other tours captures the Complete Charleston experience like this one. From a stroll down the slate sidewalks of Charlotte Street in Charleston, to the beaches, plantations, lighthouses, forts and even a boat ferry ride back to town. You can't find a day tour that offers so much! Spend the day with me on this small tour (limited to 8 people) and learn what makes the Charleston Lowcountry so historical, controversial and beautiful, all in the comfort of my 2021 Mercedes Sprinter. I am a city certified tour guide that takes you outside the limits. Visit 13 different sites that you will never see on your own. No other tours offers so much! Please know this is an active tour (8000 total steps!) with several walks during the day. I do provide Charleston snacks, including pimento cheese sliders, and quick lunch can be purchased at Folly Pier, but feel free to bring your own lunch.
