WATERFALLS OF BLUE WATER, CASCADA DE MISOL-HÁ - PALENQUE ARCHAEOLOGICAL AREA - DEPARTING FROM SAN CRISTÓBAL DE LAS CASAS CHIAPAS Departure at 4:00 am at the hotel reception, the first stop in the city of Ocosingo, at the restaurant for breakfast (not included). Then we will go to the Agua Azul waterfalls, a wonderful natural resource that has turquoise blue waterfalls that reaches 20 meters, with a 2-hour tour. We continue with the excursion to the Misol-Ha Waterfall, impressive waterfall that reaches 25 mtrs high, an ideal place to cool off by having 1 hour to visit this beautiful place. Then we will continue with the tour visiting the Z.A. from Palenque, where we will know the archaeological remains of the Mayan culture, made up of its exuberant natural wealth, with a 2-hour tour. Today from 9am you'll get picked up and taken the boat to sail on the Grijalva River into the Canyon del Sumidero National Park, and later explore the town of Chiapa de Corzo. Tour of the El Chiflón Waterfalls where we will arrive at a 180 meter high waterfall, known as “Velo de Novia”. Afterwards, we head to Misol Ha, this is a waterfall of approximately 40 meters. It is recommended that you do not go swimming and take advantage of this time to visit the grotto behind the waterfall. Lunch will be taken en route (not included). Afterwards, we continue to Palenque, to visit the archaeological site with a Spanish speaking guide in a tour of approximately 2 hours. We will leave Palenque at approximately 05:00 in the afternoon to arrive in San Cristobal around 10:00 at night. If you do not want to return, you can stay in Palenque and indicate the hotel where you will stay.

Our first stop is the viewpoints of the Sumidero Canyon to enjoy the spectacular panoramic views. We will take a boat to travel along the Grijalva River and observe the Sumidero Canyon, duration approximately 2 hours. We will arrive to Chiapa de Corzo where you will have time to visit the Mudejar style fountain, the Santo Domingo Church and buy handicrafts made in the region. At the end of the tour you will have time for lunch. We will depart at 5:00 p.m. from Chiapa de Corzo to arrive at approximately 6:00 p.m. in San Cristobal. Recommendations: Have breakfast before the tour. Important: Only on Tuesdays we do not visit the Miradores del Cañón because they are closed to the public.

Finally we will arrive at the archaeological site of Toniná, the site is accessed by the ball game court of the prisoners, one of the largest of its time, located on the great platform, where also stands the Altar of the Sacrifices and opens the ball game court of the katunes, next to which there are several sculptural samples. We will also visit the Corralito waterfall, a group of small pools, considered as natural pools, under the shade of abundant trees typical of the region, we can admire a waterfall that characterizes the place, at the end we will return to San Cristobal.
