Bicentennial Park is located along the Esplanade in the city center of Darwin. It is a short bus ride or walk from the CBD (central business district.)
Time well spent
John really knew what he was talking about. He stopped to let us take photos and happily answered any possible questions that we might have had. His enjoyment of his work is apparent and infectious. I, as a person who burns easily, also very much appreciated his dedication to making sure any time we stopped and had a chat, it was in the shade. A really wonderful time. If you have the time and want to get to know Darwin a little better, this is the way to go
