Los Haitises National Park Tours and Tickets

Although a long drive to the start of the first adventure it was worth every minute. Firstly, up Montana Redonda with stunning views out across the sea and inland views of miles of lush landscape. We took swim and an adrenaline rush zip line off the top of Montana Redonda. Next was the mangroves and cave paintings in the magical Los Haitises National Park, genuinely like something out of Jurassic Park! Finally we got to the plantation of enjoy lunch, climbing up to an enormous tree house, jumping off a waterfall and swimming in the river. All this combined with excellent commentary and knowledge through the day from our guide allowing us to learn about and understand the Dominican People, their amazing country, culture and history. Beyond doubt one of the best excursions we've ever done. Highly, highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.

As we were kayaking, the waves were coming in strong, which made it a good competition to drive out of it fast.

Probably one of the best day tours ever I have done so far. Great landscapes, perfect guide (thank you Jackson!!) and we were very lucky with our small group of 6 people in total. We definetly recommemd this trip.

Lost Haitises National Park has breath-taking views. We have kayaked through mangrove forests and on lakes and had the chance to see rare birds up-close. The kayaks are for 2 people and they're easy to paddle. There were no other tourists but us, so we had all the nature just for ourselves. Rest assured, it is very safe - no strong currents on the rivers and lake and no dangerous wildlife. We only met two friendly locals on the beach near a cave. They were chopping fresh coconuts so we had a nice refreshment right there. The hiking was short but nice - just some mild hills and no jungle. The nature is very generous though so you can expect fruit trees like mangoes, avocados and others just a stone's throw away. Our tour guide Jose was very knowledgeable and funny. He introduced us to the nature and history of the park. The pick up was not great though. I'd advise everyone to contact the company after making the booking to make sure they see it. We arrived at 7 in the morning at the meeting point and had to wait 1.5h as they forgot about us! Other than this organisational aspect, we had a great experience.

Our tour guide was very knowledge about the Dominican republic's culture my family enjoyed the tour to the fullest.
