"This was a great day with a couple of first time experiences. I hadn’t ridden a horse before, and the experience and the trail to the mud bath and hot springs was great. The horses new where they were going, so it was pretty easy guiding the horse. The MOST AMAZING were the 7, YES, SEVEN different zip lines that we experienced over the beautiful rainforest. We chose not to do the water slide, and for those that don’t want to do zip lining, there was an option to do the hanging bridges instead. The tour guide was great, and it was a great day."

"Jose was an amazing tour guide. We had a prompt and easy pick up from our resort. He was very knowledgeable about the region and filled us in on an array of information. We had a great walk through the rainforest. The guides really know what to look out for. We saw so many sloths, frogs, birds and other little rainforest creatures at work. Our lunch was so wonderful…a truly authentic Costa Rican meal. Delicious and in a stunning setting. We cannot recommend this tour enough!"

"This was a full day of Costa Rican culture, wildlife and fun! Norman Ortega was our guide and we were lucky enough to have him to ourselves for the day. We began by stopping for breakfast at a typical grocery store where we were able to purchase a delicious breakfast. We were also given the option to stop at a supermarket to pick up supplies and use the facilities. On to the 2 hour river trip where we saw monkeys, birds, iguanas and crocodiles. What an experience! Norman then took us to a restaurant where we had lunch waiting for us because Norman pre-ordered what we wanted and reserved a table. I had steak and my husband had chicken. Both were very tasty and generous with rice, beans, plantains, veggies and dessert. The restaurant even had a butterfly enclosure! After that we drove through the rainforest on the Caribbean side to a Wildlife sanctuary where we were guided by Ana, a lovely girl who knew where to find sloths, monkeys, toucans, and many other animals. Next stop was the Cortez waterfall where we were amazed by the beauty and were able to swim. The tour took about 10 hours from pickup to dropoff at our hotel.All in all, a great value and Norman was a gem. He is extremely knowledgeable about his country, its history and keeps it all interesting. Highly recommended."

"The trip was long and the road was bumpy once we got onto the mountain but the hike and view was beautiful. We got to see Howler Monkeys and the Waterfall spring was nice. The natural sauna, mud bath and hot springs were a nice touch. The lunch was an original Costa Rica mix with desert that we all enjoyed."
