Forming the backbone of Hermanus is the Klienrivier mountains, a playground for hikers who don't mind being dwarfed by nature and a challenge. As a photographer and Tour Guide based in Hermanus for approximately 15 years, I am passionate about the Whales, Birds & Nature. Fernkloof Nature Reserve is a 4448 acre (1800 hectares) fynbos and wildflower haven in the mountains outside of Hermanas. The park has an array of trails and more than 1600 flower species.
