This site reflects on the story of the displacement, mistreatment and forced migration of convict women and girls, and their contribution to the history of Australia from colonisation to the present day. Interwoven are the First Nation’s stories of Palawa, a culture that is over 40,000 years old and which was so gravely impacted by British colonisation.
