Stress free coach travel. Amazing coastline, great boat ride, outstanding commentary and humour. Top experience in Tasmania. Port Arthur always worth another look. Lighting was excellent for photography.

Port Arthur Shuttle and Tasman Sights Tour
Mark was sensational. He made the day one to remember, his engagement and knowledge was second to none. Port Arthur itself was rich with history, easy to get around with self paced interactions.

The trip was quite rushed...

Port Arthur and Lavender Active Day Tour
The trip was quite rushed and the lavender farm a disappointment as the lavender was not in bloom.I felt we should have been given the option to spend more time at port Arthur as that also was very rushed. Also going to Richmond at 4.30 pm when most places are packing up was a disappointment.I think I would tell people to spend all day at port Arthur as you could not see it in 3 hours.

Port Arthur Full-day Guided Tour with Harbour Cruise and Tasman National Park
The Port Arthur tour was very interesting. We had lots of time to walk around the complex. All landmarks were clearly signposted and informative. The cruise around The Island of the Dead was sobering. We enjoyed the brief stop over in Richmond on the way there and the surprise stop at Tasman's Arch, a highlight of the day. Thank you to Christian who kept us entertained with his jokes and commentary. A great day was had by all in our group.

Our driver was excellent and made our tour very informative. We enjoyed the opportunity to do a short sight seeing hike along with the stops for food and chocolate. The lavender farm was very interesting. Loved the whole tour.

Full-Day Port Arthur Historic Site Tour and Admission Ticket
A definite recommend. Includes a start off mini tour that sets you up for the day and sets the premise. One day is a but less to see everything, but great to get an overview. Includes an informative harbour cruise which is great

Port Arthur and Lavender Active Day Tour
David looked after us very well with all his stories and very amusing commentary. Because it was a family operated business there was some flexibility with the day’s itinerary. Highly recommended especially for families with kids.

Port Arthur Tours

The stories of Port Arthur are told in different ways. Interactive displays tell the tragic story of the 12,500 convicts who served time from 1830 to 1877, while after-dark ghost tours explore the site’s haunted buildings. Optional guided tours visit the Isle of the Dead, the final resting place for many of the convicts, and the Point Puer boys’ prison, an experimental prison that housed around 3,000 young boys between 1834 and 1849.
