"We loved this tour of the Monkey River and surrounding jungle. The tour guide was a local native who was born and raised right at the mouth of the river. He shared a lot about of what we were seeing and was extremely knowledgeable about all the wildlife. He was very personable and shared plenty of stories about growing up on the river. We saw so much we would have missed without him to point it out... bats, hummingbird nests, crocodiles, iguanas and of course, the howler monkeys. We got out of the boat and he took us into the jungle where he narrated even more about their habitat. He was an expert at getting them to howl, quite an experience. My biggest caution, take plenty of bug spray and if possible, wear long pants and protective clothing! We used the repellent wipes and they don't work as well."

"This was the highlight of an amazing trip to Belize! The amount of activities included with this excursion makes it a bargain! We were out on the water looking at amazing views of the mainland, fishing, snorkeling, hanging out on a gorgeous private island, and it was the best meal we had on our vacation. The guides are great and it was awesome to learn more about Belize from locals. We recommended them to people we met on various shuttles and hotels. We had a great time and you will too! Can't recommend enough!"

"Our tour guide Ken (I believe his name was) was incredible. Informative, patient with our group of three and all around enjoyable to be around for the afternoon. I would suggest to future riders to apply sunscreen and bug spray before you get on the horse, as you don’t break for about an hour into the ride and want to be covered. I would also strongly suggest long pants and sneakers or boots for this. Overall, a great experience that we really enjoyed. Nothing like walking through the jungle on a beautiful horse with someone who knows the area, the flora and the horses well. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a more bespoke Belize experience. Thank you!"
