Visit a local home for a private cooking class that starts with a trip to the market to see the fresh ingredients at the heart of Tanzanian cuisine. Materuni Village is located on the northern part of Moshi town. It is the last village before Kilimanjaro national park and it is only 15 Km from Moshi town. You travel on both a tarmac and rough roads. A moderate hike of approximately 40 minutes to beautiful Materuni waterfall with an English speaking guide. Materuni Falls, approaching its 80M high, is an absolute bliss. You can hear the sound of the waterfall from a distance before even arriving at the base of the waterfall.
