"Great way to see La Fortuna on a compressed schedule. Minor and Luis were AMAZING tour guides, super knowledgeable about everything we saw. Luis even stayed with my aunt who had knee trouble and walked with her up and down the stairs to the waterfall, so sweet. Lunch was also really good, with a great view of the volcano!!"

He was happy to answer everyone’s questions, even the unending questions of an 8 year old. The scenery is beautiful as were the birds and wildlife we saw. "It was raining the day we went and the guide told us that we the sloths were not so active in the rain. He said he was going to do his best to show us one or two. Boy were we surprised! "We started our day with a hotel pick up and a ~1 hour drive to the Sarapiqui River. Plan to eat before arriving as you will be served lunch when you finish (90 mins after arrival). I would also suggest that you pack a change of clothes and wear a swimsuit/water shoes as you have the option to swim in the River. We then loaded into a large raft and set off down the river. Our guide for the day was Gabriel. He did a great job instructing us on how we would row together, finding and teaching us about animals on the journey, and keeping the experience fun for all ages (we had a 9 year old on our trip). During the River float we saw howler monkeys, iguanas, a sloth, and countless birds. The rafting was very easy and relaxing. Once finished, we drove back to base camp, changed clothes, ate lunch, and traveled back to our hotel. Overall a great experience!"

"What an amazing day. Our guides were Andres and Tom. Absolutely perfect day. Wonderful experience. Just can't say enough about our day. The guides were knowledgeable a d very respectful. So many exotic animals. We had snacks and nice late lunch right on the company's property. The owner was so pleasant they had a sloth 🦥 on the property and was so cool. Taught us about chocolate that is really a fruit. We felt like family in their presence and just at home. The waterfall was well worth all the steps, the river tour was relaxing and exciting all at the same time. If you are in the LA Fortuna area this is a must tour for your group, be sure to ask for Andres and Tom. Pura Vida my friends."

"At first we weren't sure how this tour would be as the location is right off a main road, but it turned out to be great! Enthusiastic and informative guide. He went the extra mile to scout various wildlife out and be sure we all saw it. We even were treated to a rare sight, the sloth making his weekly descent from the tree - so awesome! I think we saw 5 sloths, two were moving around. Saw several types of birds. Overall a great tour! Well worth the money."
