Graceland Wedding Chapel
The Basics
After Las Vegas relaxed its marriage license laws following World War II, the resulting increase in weddings motivated the owners of this little house to convert the front section of their home into a chapel, naming it McKee's Gretna Green Wedding Chapel. In 1967, Elvis Presley unexpectedly stopped by to tour the chapel (later that year he would marry Priscilla).
Following his death 10 years later, the venue changed its name to Graceland Wedding Chapel in his honor and began its signature Elvis-themed ceremonies. Couples can opt for a traditional wedding package, commitment ceremony, or vow renewal at the Graceland Wedding Chapel.

Things to Know Before You Go
Before getting married, you’ll need to acquire a marriage license at the Las Vegas Marriage Bureau, either in-person or online.
After the ceremony, you'll receive a keepsake marriage certificate; the official marriage certificate is ordered through the Clark County Recorder's Office.
The chapel can broadcast the ceremony via Facebook Live on the chapel’s Facebook page with the purchase of a digital video.
The Graceland Wedding Chapel is accessible for wheelchair users.
How to Get There
The Graceland Wedding Chapel is located right off the Las Vegas Strip and is most easily reached by private vehicle. To reach the chapel’s parking lot, between Las Vegas Boulevard and 6th Street, travel south on Las Vegas Boulevard from the north end of the Strip and turn left onto Bonneville, then make the first right.

When to Get There
You can make reservations to visit the chapel and tie the knot either by phone or online. The chapel is open from 9am to 11pm, seven days a week. A nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due at the time of the wedding. Overall, spring and fall are the most popular times for Las Vegas weddings, specifically April, May, September, and October.

As the original Elvis-themed Vegas chapel, Graceland Wedding Chapel has pulled in its fair share of celebrities looking to tie the knot. Back in 1989, Jon Bon Jovi married his high school sweetheart Dorothea Hurley at the chapel, while Billy Ray Cyrus got hitched to Leticia Jean Finchley there in 1993.
