"We were met at the designated spot by our driver Hector (aka Yi Yi) and guide Enrique. After a quick group picture, we were off on our Costa Rican adventure. After a few secluded stops where Hector knew we could see some sloths, we hit the fruit/coffee stand for some samples and education on the local plants. From there we hit the banana plantation where we learned even more. The boat trip through the canals was amazing. We saw monkeys, sloths, cayman, iguanas and other assorted wildlife. After the canals we went to the designated ocean front restaurant on the beach. We asked Enrique and Hector to join us for lunch, our treat. They appeared humbled by our offer. They did indeed join us which allowed us to learn more about them and life in Costa Rica. We had a fantastic meal. After lunch we were given a tour of Limon on our way back to the ship. Enrique was a fantastic guide who is very knowledgeable. Hector was a character. This private tour was the highlight of all the excursions we took on our cruise. I would highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough to get Enrique and Hector as your guides you won't be disappointed."

"Outstanding tour. Vanessa met our party of six at Port Limon. Vanessa also had a driver so she was able to give us her undivided attention. We departed immediately for Tortuguero Canals. Upon arrival we boarded a boat. It was so much fun. We saw monkeys, sloths, and all kinds of birds. The boat driver was extremely knowledgeable about the animals. Next we stopped at a banana plantation and Vanessa explained to us how bananas grew and the exportation process from Costa Rica to other countries. We then went to a fruit stand and tasted the best fruit I ever had. I'll go back to Costa Rica just for the fruit. A little girl approached us and wanted to give us a butterfly tour. So we went. Amazing. The butterflies were beautiful and some of them actually landed on us. We then went to a gift shop and sampled rum and coffee and purchased souvenirs. Our last stop was at a restaurant with a gorgeous view of the beach. It was a fantastic day!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The cruise through the canal the captain was knowledgeable in pointing out the sloth, cayman, iguana, monkey and various water fowls. The guide Ramon(?) was patient and informative in guiding us through the rainforest. He showed us the names of different plants and applications of them. We tasted different fruits. We even get a close encounter with a white faced monkey on the trail. Overall we had good time."
