The Basics

Today, the tower famously displays the Crown Jewels (which include the Imperial State Crown) and holds centuries of history within its walls, drawing travelers from near and far. It remains guarded by members of the Royal Bodyguards, known as Beefeaters. Visitors can admire the Royal Armouries in the White Tower, walk along the battlements, and see where Anne Boleyn was executed by order of Henry VIII. The popular Torture at the Tower exhibit, the Coins and Kings exhibit at the Royal Mint, the Fusilier Museum, and the Line of Kings all shed light on the tower's history.

The Tower of London - Small Group Tour with a local expert

The Tower of London tour was absolutely fabulous. Mostly due to our guide James Hart. James is extreme knowledgeable and lets you know the smallest of detail. A great pleasure to have him guide us through the Tower. His voice carried very good, there was never an issue with hearing James without a radio box. Thank you again, James.

Both Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London were not what we had imagined. So glad we visited them. The guide was wonderful. We loved the boat ride on the Thames. Great tour.

Coach tour .. mostly drive by, not baby photo opportunities, 2 visits st souls and Tower of London. Disappointed no changing of the guard (need to exclude this from the tour write up) as it is misleading. Tour guide was good

London City Sightseeing Tour Including Tower of London and City of London

The trip started with a bus tour in London with our tour guide narrating. Interesting facts abound. Then st Paul's cathedral with guide on radio is very impressive. Got drop off on the final leg at tower of london and thames boat ride for the finale. All in all a well Wirth trip and guide is great!

Guide was good but did not keep an eye out for her group Many of us felt lost looking for her . The cruise was great so much to see in the Tower of London only saw the jewels Will need to go back for a longer visit

Tower of London for kids & families Private Guided Tour with pre-booked Tickets

I came with my 7yo to London for spring break and enjoyed our private tour with Ben. He was very patient and attentive, and was super nice to boot! Kept my 7yo engaged throughout the tour. We learned a lot the Tower of London, and Ben even waited in the long crown jewels line for us while we queued in the almost as long line for ice cream!
