Elberth was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. While the mosquitoes were insane due to the time of the year, we saw lots of different birds and other wildlife.

Guided Tour in Monteverde Curi cancha Reserve
Informative and enjoyable walk with Dani in the Curi Cancha reserve. Spotted some birds and other wildlife that I definitely would not have done if I went on my own so thank you. Dani is super passionate about nature and the wildlife of Costa Rica which came across during the walk.

Curi-Cancha Wildlife & Bird Watching tour
After a bad start (we were not picked up for the tour, due to tour operator’s problems,) and an amicable agreement, we ended with very good tour seeing many birds and animals. An entertaining guide and good supply of creatures ensured an enjoyable experience.

Natural History Tour at Curi Cancha Reserve in Monteverde
My holiday in Costa Rica was the best I've ever had, Curi-Cancha and Sergio stand out as the best tour and guide we had among many brilliant tours. Sergio spoke perfect English, above that he cared so dearly for the nature reserve. He explained he'd been attending there since school. We felt incredibly lucky to have seen a collared peccary. Seconds later we would witness a mother collared peccary feeding her young. You could see how happy and excited this made Sergio, it was a wonderful experience. Sergio had an excellent eye for the wildlife and took us down some quieter trails which made the experience more encapsulating. Sergio's care for the wildlife and the park came across very quickly. He had a great knowledge and was so open about his upbringing and how this had influenced his love for biodiversity, environmentalism and his job within this. Sergio explained that he had grown up in Monteverde, and that visits to the reserve during school were weekly, you could see how much Curi-Cancha meant to him. You couldn't have asked for a more immersive tour or a better tour guide. This tour stands out as my favourite. I cannot thank Sergio enough for this tour. It was excellent.

Birdwatching Curi Cancha Reserve with transport (Entrance fees NOT included)
Had a great morning birding with Beto who really knows his stuff. We added so many birds to our life list! Many thanks to Beto who was knowledgeable, friendly and worked hard to find some really secretive birds we would not have otherwise seen.

Guided Walk to the Curi Cancha Reserve
Rodiber was a great guide, very knowledgable and flexible as to what we wanted. He found us three quetzals, a bellbird and a MotMot, and told us some really interesting facts about ecology in Costa Rica and the history of quetzal feather headdresses! Curi Cancha was our favourite reserve at Monteverde, small and manageable but open enough to get great views and see the wildlife. We stayed In the reserve for quite a while afterwards to have lunch at watch the hummingbirds. highly recommend Rodiber as a guide; ask for him if you book. He didn’t manage to find us a Trogon but next time!!

Package | Monteverde Cloud Forest + Curi-Cancha Reserve + Night Hike (Private)
This tour was amazing! 10/10 would recommend. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and was able to spot two quetzals (sp?), some pigs, some long-snooted creatures, many different birds, a sloth, several vipers, two giant insects, intertwining paths of leaf-cutter ants, sting-less bees, giant trees, a spider monkey, and dozens of other animals. He also was very helpful with getting us good pictures of all the animals through his scope as he is also a very talented photographer. Overall the tour was engaging, well paced, and entertaining. If you're in Monteverde, do this tour and you will see all the cloud forest has to offer!

Curi-Cancha Wildlife & Bird Watching tour
Olger was a great guide, very patient and respectful. We spotted(well, really just him, we wouldn't have seen even half of what he did) all of the animals we were hoping for (many birds, some small mammals, and a tarantula!) and he was obviously very knowledgeable about the wildlife and natural history of the area. He even went as far as to teach us a few bird calls and told us specifically where we could locate some more types of birds in Selvatura later that day when we were on our own, which we were able to do due to his information! Overall a great experience.
