For a crash course in Polynesian culture, the Tiki Village Cultural Centre is the place to go. In a stunning lagoon-side location on the island of Moorea, you’ll experience traditional weaving with natural fibers, the art of flower garlands, and intricate wood carving. The village also celebrates two different forms of adornment: tattoos, which came to the West via Polynesia, and rare black pearls.

Tour of the island of Moorea from Papeete, round trip ferry crossing
To spend a wonderful day departing from Papeete and going on a private tour of the island of Moorea.
Moorea is Tahiti's sister island 45 minutes by ferry.
This island is beautiful, lush and relaxing. Its exceptional lagoon, with shades of blue, green and turquoise.
We will pass in front of the International Golf of Moorea.
We will pass by Opunohu Bay as well as Cook's Bay.
We show the Belvedere, a magnificent viewpoint between the two bays of Moorea. We will see the Lycée Agricole which teaches us the flora of Polynesia and we will also pass in front of the pineapple plantations.
Of course if you wish it will be possible to have lunch with a good raw fish or other local dish!!
It is also possible to stop at the Dolphin Center to admire some dolphins.
If it is open, we will stop at the Tiki Village, a cultural place with local dance show and Tamure, crafts and Polynesian restaurant
