Access to the Ginger Factory grounds, shops, food options, and play area is free of charge, but tours and rides are ticketed. Purchase access to the factory tour, bee show, Overboard ride, and Ginger Train individually or as part of a range of ticket bundles, with discounts for children, seniors, and families. Travelers coming from Brisbane sometimes bundle the Ginger Factory into a Sunshine Coast day tour, stopping off at the Australia Zoo and continuing on to Noosa.

The Ginger Factory is wheelchair-accessible, with the exception of the Overboard boat ride. There are a couple of wheelchairs available to rent on-site.
How to Get There
The Ginger Factory is located in the little town of Yandina on the Sunshine Coast, about 68 miles (110 kilometers) north of Brisbane Airport and 23 miles (37 kilometers) south of Noosa. It’s under a 1-mile (1.5-kilometer) walk from Yandina station; trains from Roma Street in Brisbane take a couple of hours.

When to Get There
The Ginger Factory is open from morning until late afternoon seven days a week, closing only on Christmas Day. It’s at its busiest during the Australian summer break (December and January), so aim to visit on a midweek morning for a quieter experience during that time.
