Parking is limited and expensive, but drivers can reach the precinct from Riverside Drive, Barrack Street, the Esplanade or William Street. Be aware of event-related road closures.

The Elizabeth Quay waterfront precinct is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, though eateries and attractions have varied opening times. The most popular time to visit Perth is during Australia’s summer (December-February), when tours, ferries, and accommodation can be more expensive and advance bookings are advised. Alternatively, a winter (June-November) visit can save money and avoid crowds; it’s also the best time to spot humpback whales on their annual migration.
